The Heavenka Research Team
Heavenka guides are published under the Heavenka Research Team byline. This page explains who is behind that byline, what each part of the process does, and how you can hold us accountable when we get something wrong.
What the research desk does
Research
Collects vendor documentation (pricing pages, release notes, security attestations, API docs), public research from bodies such as SHRM, ATD, Gartner and the World Economic Forum, and applicable regulation (EU AI Act, NYC Local Law 144, OSHA).
Writing & modelling
Turns that research into buyer guides and builds the calculators. Every formula and default assumption is written out on the tool page so readers can check the math by hand.
Editing & fact-checking
Checks each statistic against its source, removes claims that cannot be traced to a primary publication, and adds the source to the References list at the end of the guide.
Maintenance
Reviews pricing-sensitive guides on a quarterly cycle and updates the "Last reviewed" date only when a page has actually been re-checked.

How we use AI — and where humans decide
We use AI tools to help collect public documentation and draft first outlines. A human editor decides what is published, checks every number against its source, and removes anything that cannot be verified. AI is never used to invent quotes, test results, user reviews or author identities. Our full policy is in the Editorial Guidelines.
What we do not do
- We do not accept payment from software vendors for coverage, rankings or "best of" placements.
- We do not claim hands-on testing unless the guide says which product and workflow were tested.
- We do not claim certifications or professional credentials we do not hold.
Accountability
